So I have had allot of people ask me not to close this down.
I still will it just needs to be done ok.
I wanted to do it for a long time and there is a time to end everything. Words hurt and this is a way to minimise the pain.
So unless someone convinces me otherwise, tommorow night is the end.
I don't think I have the power to change your mind, and ultimately it is your decision as to what you do with this blog.
ReplyDeleteI just want to say (and I'm speaking only for myself here) that I have honestly enjoyed reading each and every one of your posts. Even ones that have been difficult. It helps reading peoples blogs, to understand the way they see things.
I mean you already know my point of view, after all I was the one that asked you to start this blog.
In regards to the other one - well that was amazing to read. I stand by the things I said about it, you are talented and many of the things you wrote had an affect on me.
Whatever you choose to do, I just want to say thanks for having them for as long as you did.
I agree with Rachel. Having these blogs is an outlet. They're for the things that we don't want to say aloud, but have to say somehow.

I'm also sorry for causing you to stop writing on your poetry one so much. If I were smart I would have followed you silently and not jumped to conclusions.
In some ways my sister is right, often, everything is about me (to me).
Please don't close this down. We don't talk much anymore and this is the only place where I know what you're thinking.

ReplyDeleteWhen you said this girl is far away, did you mean physically or emotionally? Cuz that would make a lot of difference. I'd be tempted to take the easiest possible route, but that can often just lead to a dead end and in the end you should always just go with your gut.
Hopefully that made some sense and isn't too late.
As for your blog, well I know you won't listen to me because nobody has the power to change people's minds. But I really like reading your blogs, they always give insights into what is happening with you. Your poems are very good, and you do have talent in that area and I like reading them, a lot of the time they do make me think.
You may think that I'm talking shit to make you feel better but you should know by know that I don't do that; I'm generally hoenst to a fault.
dude, seriously, whther you stop the blog or keep it going is your decision.. i can understand (maybe not empathise but understand) where you are coming from, and it is ultimately up to you..
ReplyDeletebut coming from someone who doesnt have a lot of outlets for my own emotions in life, and only a couple of those, one being the blog, in any kind of public view, i know the benefit it can give you, just to know that someone is hearing, someone is (usually) responding.. that pople care..
i love reading your blogs.. they are interesting and i can really understand a lot of the feelings..
whatever you (omg a mouse running into the kitchen just gave me a heart attack) .. anyway.. whatever you chose, dont stop writing.. keep a record of how you are feeling, and why.. looking back helps.. it not only reminds things were good and can be again, but it keeps records of when it was bad and reminds you that you got out of it (and if you didnt, well thats wehn you really need to be talking.. take it from experience)
